Australia’s Nation Brand expands with sonic and motion branding

New sound and animation assets will bring brands to life in digital, multimedia, and event spaces

17 September 2025

How does Australia sound? How do we move? New sonic and motion branding will strengthen and grow Australia’s national identity.

Sound and animation assets have been added to Australia’s Nation Brand Toolkit for use across digital, event and multimedia applications.

These new assets are designed to elevate branded content, helping business, industry and government create compelling marketing materials that encourage the world to invest, visit, study with and buy from Australia.

How we sound

Bush and rainforest 12 second sonic track

Unique sounds of Australia have been captured in Bush and rainforest, Billabong, Desert night, and Ocean and harbour soundscapes. Inspired by First Nations culture and the natural environment, the new sonic branding features sounds ranging from kookaburra and magpie calls, to crashing waves and a crackling fire.
